Steps to do a Campaign

To run a campaign through Simple Broadcast in Ownchat, follow these steps

  1. Access Campaign Screen: Navigate to the Campaign screen via the side menu, where you will see a list of previously run campaigns.

  2. Add Campaign: Click on "Add Campaign" at the top right corner of the screen and select "Simple Broadcast."

  3. Campaign Details: Provide a name for the campaign for reference and select the correct campaign audience to ensure messages are received by the intended customers to meet your business needs.

  4. Select Audience: You can manually select contacts or choose an audience through segmentation.

  5. Prepare Template: Create a WhatsApp template for approval. If button analytics is enabled, you can track button clicks by customers and identify whether the template is for marketing or utility purposes.

  6. Send Campaign: Click "Send Now" to start the message-sending process, which includes validation. The campaign status will show as running. Once completed, synchronize or refresh to update the status.

  7. Schedule Campaign: You can schedule the campaign by selecting the desired date and time for sending the messages. There is also an option to reschedule the Campaign if needed.

  8. Monitor Performance: Click on the campaign name to view performance metrics such as audience size, messages sent, delivered, read, failed, and the amount used. Button analytics will show customer interactions with buttons in the broadcast messages.

  9. Export Data: You can export the campaign data for further analysis.

  10. Cost Management: If customers once message delivered, the amount is deducted. If the message failed, then the amount is returned to your account.
