How to Run a Campaign Using MM Lite Broadcast

Overview

MM Lite Broadcast allows you to send a WhatsApp template message to multiple selected recipients, similar to Simple Broadcast.

The campaign setup, audience selection, message configuration, scheduling, and monitoring process remain the same. The only difference is selecting MM Lite Broadcast as the campaign type during creation. It is ideal for: Video-based promotions Product showcases Lead nurturing campaigns High-engagement marketing broadcasts

1. Accessing MM Lite Broadcast

Follow these steps to create a new campaign: Navigate to the Campaigns module Click Add Campaign

Click Create Select MM Lite Broadcast

2. Campaign Setup

Campaign Name

Enter a Campaign Name

This acts as an internal identifier for: Campaign tracking Performance analysis Management

3. Selecting Target Audience

You can define your audience using three methods:

Option 1: Select Individual Contacts

Best for: Targeting specific users

Steps: Search contact using name or number Select the contact Click Next

You can view selected audience count

Use Delete to remove selected contacts

Option 2: Use Segments

Best for: Bulk campaigns (1000+ users) Steps: Click Select Segment

Choose a segment (e.g., Restaurant cold-call funnel)

Add multiple segments if required View total audience count

👉 If no segment exists: Upload contacts via Bulk Upload Assign tags during upload Create segments using tags (refer Segment module) Click Next to proceed

Use Delete to remove selected segments

Option 3: WhatsApp Flow-Based Audience

Best for: Behavior-driven targeting Steps: Click WhatsApp Flow dropdown

Select flow (e.g., fromownchatnew01)

Click Next

4️. Selecting Message Template

⚠️ Important Only Meta-approved WhatsApp templates are supported Steps: Click Select Template

Choose template (e.g., restaurantfunnel)

Click Next

5. Media & Personalization

Add Video Media

Click Upload VIDEO from media

Select file via checkbox Click Send selected files

Add Dynamic Variables

Select variable from dropdown Choose Name Set fallback value Example: Variable → Name

Fallback → Customer

👉 Output: If name exists → Personalized name If not → “Customer” Click Select to confirm

Add Campaign Tags

Enter tags to organize campaign contacts

Example: Restaurant lead

6. Advanced Settings

Click Show Advanced Settings to configure:

Assign Bot

Select bot from dropdown for handling replies

Retry Settings

Enable retry for failed messages: Toggle Retry Sending Messages

Retry Configuration:

Maximum retries: 3 attempts

Example setup: Retry 1 → 3 Hours Retry 2 → 4 Hours (Add retries using ➕ icon)

Campaign Execution

Send Immediately

Click Send Now Campaign is triggered instantly

Schedule Campaign

Click Schedule Now

Select Date & Time Click OK to confirm

Click Create Campaign

👉 Campaign will run automatically at scheduled time

8. Campaign Management

View Campaign

Campaign appears under All Campaigns

View Details

Click View Details to access:

Delivery status Campaign metrics Total audience Performance insights Campaign spend

Auto Retry Insights

Track:

Retry attempts count Delivery improvements Final campaign performance
