Segments

Overview

Segments (Dynamic Filters) allow you to group contacts based on defined conditions.

Segments update automatically when contact data changes.

Use segments to:

  • Target specific customer groups

  • Filter contacts dynamically

  • Personalize communication

  • Improve campaign targeting

Segments do not require manual updates.

Access Segments

  1. Go to the Contacts module

  2. Click Segments (top left corner)

You will be redirected to the Segments screen.

Segment Dashboard Overview

Inside the Segments section:

  • Use the Search field to filter segments by name

  • Click Grid View to change layout

  • Click List View to display contacts in list format

  • Click the Reload button to refresh and synchronize segment data

Create a New Segment

Click Create New Segment

Enter a Segment Name for identification

Select a Field Name from the dropdown Choose Tags (if filtering by tags)

Select an Operator (e.g., is)

Select a Value (e.g., 1st Customer)

Click Create Segment

The segment will be created based on the defined condition.

Manage Segment Conditions

Access Conditions

Click the Condition tab

View and manage segment filters

Edit Segment

Click Edit Segment Form

Modify existing conditions Click Update Segment to save changes

Add Conditions

To refine your segment: Click Add Condition

Select: Field Name Operator Value

Condition Matching Logic

All Conditions (AND Logic)

Select All to apply strict filtering

All conditions must be met Example: Tags is 1st Customer AND Tags is not Ads → Only contacts matching both conditions will be included

Any Condition (OR Logic)

Select Any for broader filtering

At least one condition must be met Example: Tags is 1st Customer OR Tags is not Ads

→ Contacts matching either condition will be included

Add Multiple Conditions

To add another condition: Click Add Condition Select Field Name → Tags

Choose an Operator (e.g., is not)

Select a Value (e.g., Ads)

Add Condition Group

To create advanced rules: Click Add Condition Group Define additional filtering criteria

View Segment Results

View the matching contacts count

Click Refresh to update segment results The screen displays: Segmented contacts Total contact count

Segment Actions

Edit Segment

Click Edit Modify conditions Click Update Segment

Delete Segment

Click Delete Confirm removal
