Compliance Info

The Compliance Information section allows you to configure and manage your business compliance details inside Ownchat.

This section helps businesses maintain accurate legal and customer support information required for WhatsApp business operations and regulatory compliance.

Accessing Compliance Information

Follow the steps below to open the Compliance Information section:

1. Click the Settings icon from the navigation menu.

1. Select WhatsApp from the Channel menu.

1. Click the Compliance Info tab.

You will now be redirected to the Compliance Information screen.

Business Compliance Information

The Compliance Information section allows you to configure your legal business details.

Legal Business Name

Enter your registered business name in the Legal Name of Business field.

Business Type

To select your business classification:

1. Click the Business Type dropdown

2. Choose the appropriate business category

Company Registration Status

Select Yes to confirm that your business is officially registered.

Customer Care Details

This section allows you to configure customer support contact information.

Customer Care Email

Enter the customer support email address in the provided field.

Customer Care Mobile Number

Enter the customer care mobile number in the Mobile Number field.

Customer Care Landline Number

Enter the customer support landline number in the designated field.

Grievance Officer Information

You can configure grievance officer details for compliance and support management.

Grievance Officer Name

Enter the grievance officer’s name in the provided text field.

Grievance Officer Email

Enter the grievance officer’s email address in the email field.

Grievance Officer Mobile Number

Enter the grievance officer’s mobile number in the designated field.

Grievance Officer Landline Number

Enter the grievance officer’s landline number in the provided field.

Saving Compliance Information

After entering all required details:

1. Review the compliance information carefully

2. Click the Save Changes button

Your updated compliance information will now be saved successfully.

Confirmation Message

Once the changes are saved, a confirmation message will appear indicating that the business compliance information has been updated successfully.
