# Compliance Info

The **Compliance Information** section allows you to configure and manage your business compliance details inside Ownchat.

This section helps businesses maintain accurate legal and customer support information required for WhatsApp business operations and regulatory compliance.

### Accessing Compliance Information &#x20;

Follow the steps below to open the Compliance Information section:

1. Click the **Settings** icon from the navigation menu.

2. Select **WhatsApp** from the Channel menu.

3. Click the **Compliance Info** tab.<br>

You will now be redirected to the Compliance Information screen.

### Business Compliance Information &#x20;

The Compliance Information section allows you to configure your legal business details.<br>

### Legal Business Name &#x20;

Enter your registered business name in the **Legal Name of Business** field.

#### Business Type &#x20;

To select your business classification:

1. Click the **Business Type** dropdown
2. Choose the appropriate business category<br>

#### Company Registration Status &#x20;

Select **Yes** to confirm that your business is officially registered.

### Customer Care Details &#x20;

Enter the customer support email address in the provided field.<br>

You can configure grievance officer details for compliance and support management.

#### Grievance Officer Name &#x20;

Enter the grievance officer’s name in the provided text field.<br>

After entering all required details:

1. Review the compliance information carefully
2. Click the **Save Changes** button<br>
