# Accounts

The **Account Settings** section allows you to configure and manage your WhatsApp account preferences, identifiers, prompts, commands, QR codes, and connection settings inside Ownchat.

### Accessing WhatsApp Account Settings &#x20;

Follow the steps below to access your WhatsApp account settings:

1. Click the **Settings** icon from the navigation menu.<br>

2. Select **WhatsApp** to open WhatsApp channel settings.<br>

You will now be redirected to the WhatsApp Account Settings screen.

### Account Overview &#x20;

The top section displays important WhatsApp account information and connection details.

#### Quality Status &#x20;

View the **Quality GREEN** badge to verify that your WhatsApp account is performing optimally.

#### Business Account ID &#x20;

Use the **Business Account ID** field to:

* View your business account identifier
* Copy the account ID when required<br>

#### WhatsApp ID &#x20;

Use the **WhatsApp ID** field to:

* View your WhatsApp account identifier
* Copy the ID for reference purposes<br>

#### Reference ID &#x20;

The **Reference ID** is a unique identifier assigned to your WhatsApp account.

### Catalog & Cart Settings &#x20;

You can enable customer shopping features directly from this section.

#### Enable Catalog &#x20;

Toggle the **Catalog** switch to make your product catalog visible to customers.<br>

#### Enable Cart &#x20;

Toggle the **Cart** switch to allow customers to use shopping cart functionality.

#### Managing Prompts &#x20;

Prompts help you create predefined responses or instructions for your WhatsApp account.

**Add a New Prompt** &#x20;

To create a new prompt:

1. Click the **Add Prompt** button<br>

2. Enter the required prompt in the text field<br>

3. Save the prompt

**Prompt Actions** &#x20;

In the Prompt View section, you can:

* Edit prompts
* Delete prompts

### Managing Commands &#x20;

Commands allow you to create shortcut-based automations for your WhatsApp account.

**Access Commands** &#x20;

1. Open the **Commands** section
2. Click **Add Command**<br>

### Create a Command &#x20;

To create a command:

1. Enter the command name (Example: tickets)
2. Enter the command description
3. Save the command<br>

### Command Actions &#x20;

In the Command View section, you can:

* Edit commands
* Delete commands

### QR Code Management &#x20;

QR codes allow customers to quickly connect with your WhatsApp account.

#### Generate a QR Code &#x20;

To create a new QR code:

1. Click the **Add QR Code** button

2. Enter the message that should appear after scanning
3. Click **Generate QR Code**

### QR Code Options &#x20;

After generating the QR code, you can:

* Click **Copy Link** to copy the QR code link<br>

* Click **Download** to save the QR code image<br>

#### Connect Using QR Code &#x20;

Scan the generated QR code using your mobile device to connect through WhatsApp.

### Account Connection Information &#x20;

The bottom section displays:

* Ownchat account details
* WhatsApp connection status information
