Accounts

The Account Settings section allows you to configure and manage your WhatsApp account preferences, identifiers, prompts, commands, QR codes, and connection settings inside Ownchat.

Accessing WhatsApp Account Settings

Follow the steps below to access your WhatsApp account settings:

1. Click the Settings icon from the navigation menu.

1. Select WhatsApp to open WhatsApp channel settings.

You will now be redirected to the WhatsApp Account Settings screen.

Account Overview

The top section displays important WhatsApp account information and connection details.

Quality Status

View the Quality GREEN badge to verify that your WhatsApp account is performing optimally.

Business Account ID

Use the Business Account ID field to:

• View your business account identifier

• Copy the account ID when required

WhatsApp ID

Use the WhatsApp ID field to:

• View your WhatsApp account identifier

• Copy the ID for reference purposes

Reference ID

The Reference ID is a unique identifier assigned to your WhatsApp account.

Catalog & Cart Settings

You can enable customer shopping features directly from this section.

Enable Catalog

Toggle the Catalog switch to make your product catalog visible to customers.

Enable Cart

Toggle the Cart switch to allow customers to use shopping cart functionality.

Managing Prompts

Prompts help you create predefined responses or instructions for your WhatsApp account.

Add a New Prompt

To create a new prompt:

1. Click the Add Prompt button

1. Enter the required prompt in the text field

1. Save the prompt

Prompt Actions

In the Prompt View section, you can:

• Edit prompts

• Delete prompts

Managing Commands

Commands allow you to create shortcut-based automations for your WhatsApp account.

Access Commands

1. Open the Commands section

2. Click Add Command

Create a Command

To create a command:

1. Enter the command name (Example: tickets)

2. Enter the command description

3. Save the command

Command Actions

In the Command View section, you can:

• Edit commands

• Delete commands

QR Code Management

QR codes allow customers to quickly connect with your WhatsApp account.

Generate a QR Code

To create a new QR code:

1. Click the Add QR Code button

1. Enter the message that should appear after scanning

2. Click Generate QR Code

QR Code Options

After generating the QR code, you can:

• Click Copy Link to copy the QR code link

• Click Download to save the QR code image

Connect Using QR Code

Scan the generated QR code using your mobile device to connect through WhatsApp.

Account Connection Information

The bottom section displays:

• Ownchat account details

• WhatsApp connection status information

Use this section to monitor your account connectivity and status.
