# Instagram Onboarding

### Instagram Automation Setup – Ownchat &#x20;

This document provides a complete step-by-step guide to:

* Creating an Ownchat account
* Configuring business details
* Connecting Instagram
* Accessing Instagram automation modules

### 1️. Access Ownchat & Create Account &#x20;

1. Open your browser and navigate to:\
   👉 <https://workspace.ownchat.app/>
2. Click **Register here** to create a new account
3. You will be redirected to the **Ownchat Signup Page**

### 2️. Enter Signup Details &#x20;

Fill in the required fields:

* Enter your **Name**
* Enter your **Mobile Number** (with country code)
* Enter your **Email Address**

After entering all details:

* Check the box to agree to:
* Terms of Use
* Privacy Policy
* Click **Sign Up**

### 3️. Email Verification (OTP) &#x20;

1. Open your email inbox
2. Click the **Ownchat notification email**
3. Copy the **OTP (One-Time Password)**
4. Enter the OTP in the verification field
5. Submit to complete verification

### 4️. Password Setup &#x20;

1. Enter your password in the **New Password** field
2. Re-enter the same password in the **Confirm Password** field
3. Click **Submit**

✅ Your account setup is now complete

### 5️. Welcome Page &#x20;

* You will be redirected to the **Ownchat Welcome Page**
* This page displays platform features

### 6️. Company Details Configuration &#x20;

Enter your business information:

#### Basic Details &#x20;

* Company Name
* Website URL

#### Industry Selection &#x20;

* Click the **Industry dropdown**
* Select your business category
* Example: **Media**

#### Team Size &#x20;

* Select from the **Employees dropdown**

👉 Click **Next** to proceed

### 7️. Regional Configuration &#x20;

Set your regional preferences:

* Select **Currency** → INR
* Select **Timezone** → Asia/Kolkata

### 8️. Additional Business Details &#x20;

* Enter:
* Company Address
* Tax Details

👉 Click **Next** to proceed

### 9️. Channel Selection &#x20;

1. Choose the channel you want to onboard

👉 For this setup: **Instagram**

2. Click **Continue To Pricing**

### 10. Pricing Plan Selection &#x20;

1. Choose billing type:

* Quarterly
* Annual

2. Select channel option:

* WhatsApp + Instagram
* OR Instagram-only (single-channel automation)

3. Choose your preferred plan

### 1️1️. Instagram Integration &#x20;

#### Step 1: Start Connection &#x20;

* Click **Connect**

Ownchat will display integration details including:

* Reading Instagram comments
* Replying to comments
* Hiding or deleting comments
* Triggering comment-based automation

#### Step 2: Connect Instagram &#x20;

* Click **Connect with Instagram**
* You will be redirected to Instagram login

#### Step 3: Login to Instagram &#x20;

1. Enter your **Username** and **Password**
2. Click **Log In**

#### Step 4: Optional Prompt &#x20;

* Click **Not now** to skip saving login info

#### Step 5: Grant Permissions &#x20;

* Click **Allow** to provide access to Ownchat

#### Step 6: Confirm Connection &#x20;

* Click the **checkmark icon** to confirm successful integration

### 1️2. Access Instagram Settings &#x20;

There are **two ways** to access Instagram inside Ownchat:

#### Method 1: &#x20;

* Use the **search bar** at the top
* Search for Ownchat features

1. Go to **Settings**
2. Navigate to **Channels → Instagram**

#### 🔹 Accounts Tab &#x20;

View your Instagram account details:

* Posts
* Followers
* Following
* Profile Picture
* Name
* Website

Start quickly with pre-built templates:

* Send **Direct Messages (DMs)**
* Trigger DMs via comments

This is where automation is configured.

You can:

* Set **comment reply automation**
* Configure **comment-to-DM automation**

* Universal Trigger (all posts, lives, stories)
