The Payment Link Template allows you to send payment requests directly to customers via WhatsApp. This template is ideal for collecting payments, confirming orders, and streamlining transaction workflows.
Steps:
Enter a name in the Name field for your template
Configure the required template settings
The Time To Live (TTL) defines how long the template remains valid.
Example:
If TTL is set to 3 hours:
Delivered if the user opens within 3 hours
Not delivered if opened after 3 hours
Category
Choose the appropriate category:
Marketing
Utility
Authentication
Example: Select Utility for payment-related communication
Click on Template Type
Select Payment Link
This template is specifically designed for sending payment requests.
Enter content in the Header Text field
This can include payment context such as invoice title or order reference
Enter your message content in the Message Body field
Clearly explain the payment details and next steps
Bold → Apply bold styling for emphasis
Variables allow you to personalize the message dynamically.
Use placeholders (e.g., {{1}})
These are replaced with actual values like:
Customer Name
Order ID
Payment Amount
Enter content in the Message Footer field
Use this for additional instructions or support details
Steps:
Click Create to save the template
Enter sample values for variables (if used)
Click Create again to confirm
Steps:
Click on the created template
Select Message Preview
View the complete payment message
This preview shows how the payment link template will appear to customers.
