# Catalogue Templates

The Catalogue Template allows you to share a collection of products with customers through WhatsApp. This template is ideal for showcasing product catalogs and enabling users to browse items seamlessly within a conversation.

### Create a New Template &#x20;

**Steps:** &#x20;

1. Enter a name in the **Name** field for your template

2. Configure the required template settings

### Time To Live (TTL) &#x20;

The **Time To Live (TTL)** defines how long the template remains valid.<br>

**Example:** &#x20;

* If TTL is set to **3 hours:**
* Delivered if the user opens within 3 hours
* Not delivered if opened after 3 hours

### Select Template Configuration &#x20;

**Category** &#x20;

Choose the appropriate category:<br>

Example: Select **Marketing** for catalog promotions

### Template Type &#x20;

1. Click on **Template Type**
2. Select **Catalogue**

This template is used to share product collections with customers.

### Compose Message Body &#x20;

* Enter your message content in the **Message Body** field

* Use this section to introduce the catalog or highlight key products

#### Formatting Options: &#x20;

* **Bold** → Select text and apply bold formatting

### Add Variables &#x20;

Variables allow you to personalize messages dynamically.

#### How it works: &#x20;

* Insert placeholders (e.g., {{1}}) into the message
* These are replaced with actual values (e.g., name, order ID, date) during message delivery

### Add Footer &#x20;

* Enter text in the **Message Footer** field<br>

* Use this to add closing notes, disclaimers, or call-to-action prompts

### Enable Analytics &#x20;

* Toggle **Button Analytics** to track:<br>

### Save Template &#x20;

**Steps:** &#x20;

1. Click **Create** to save the template
2. Enter sample values for variables (if used)
3. Click **Create** again to confirm<br>

### Sync Template Status &#x20;

**Steps:** &#x20;

1. Click **Sync**<br>

2. This updates the template status based on approval from **Meta**

### View Template & Preview &#x20;

**Steps:** &#x20;

1. Click on the created message template<br>

2. View full template details
3. Access the **Template Preview**<br>
