# CSV Broadcast

A CSV Broadcast allows you to send targeted campaigns to a specific list of customers by uploading a CSV file containing their contact details and mapping the required fields to personalize messages.

How It Works

1. Upload CSV File:Upload a CSV file containing customer details, such as phone numbers and names.
2. Map Fields:Map the CSV columns to the corresponding fields, such as Phone Number and Name.
3. Select Template:Choose a WhatsApp or RCS message template for your campaign.
4. Personalize Messages:Map template variables to CSV columns and configure fallback values where required.
5. Configure Settings:Add campaign tags, set retry intervals, and enable RCS fallback if needed.
6. Send or Schedule:Send the campaign immediately or schedule it for a preferred date and time.
7. Track Campaign:View the campaign details and monitor its configuration from the Campaigns section.<br>

First, click Campaign in the left sidebar to access campaign management.

Review the Overall Campaign Analytics section to view campaign performance metrics.

Click Add Campaign to create a new campaign.

Select CSV Broadcast to create a campaign using a CSV file.\
Click Select and choose the CSV file containing your customer details.\
A CSV Campaign allows you to send targeted messages to a specific list of customers using contact details uploaded from a CSV file.

### Configure the Campaign &#x20;

Select WhatsApp as your delivery channel.

To send the campaign through RCS, select RCS as the campaign channel.

For WhatsApp campaigns, you can also enable RCS Fallback. If a message cannot be delivered through WhatsApp due to a delivery or health error, it can be sent through RCS instead.

Enter a name in the Campaign Name field to identify your broadcast.

### Upload and Map the CSV File &#x20;

In the Campaign Audience section, drag and drop your CSV file or click to browse and select it from your computer.

The system analyses the uploaded CSV file and maps the available data based on its columns.

Select Phone Number to map the column containing the recipients' mobile numbers.

Select Name to map the column containing customer names.

### Select and Personalize the Template &#x20;

Click Select Template and choose the VIP customer template.

Click Next to proceed to campaign configuration.

Click Upload IMAGE from media to add the template image.\
Select the VIP content checkbox to include the required file, then click Send selected files to proceed.

Under the Variable field, select the CSV column header to use for Variable 1. The system retrieves the corresponding values from that column in your uploaded CSV file for template personalization.\
Only CSV column headers are available for mapping; fields created in the Field Collection will not appear unless they are included in the CSV.

Select Name from the dropdown to personalize the customer name variable.

Enter a fallback value in the text field to display default content when the variable is unavailable.

For button personalization, click Select Value and choose the required customer variable.

Click Use Fallback Value to apply a default value to the button data field, then select the fallback value to use when the variable is unavailable.

Enter the website URL where customers should be redirected when they click the button.

Click Select to confirm and apply the template.

### Add Campaign Tags &#x20;

Click Select Tags to organize your campaign for easier tracking and management.

Enter the desired tag and click Add to create or add it to the available tags.

Select the Diwali campaign tag, then click Add to apply it to your campaign.

### Configure Advanced Settings &#x20;

Click Advanced Settings to configure automatic retries and RCS fallback.

Enable the Retry checkbox to automatically retry failed messages.

Configure the retry intervals as follows:

1. Select 2 Hours for the first retry attempt.

2. Click the plus (+) icon to add another retry attempt, then select 5 Hours for the second attempt.

3. Click the plus (+) icon again to add a third retry attempt, then select 10 Hours.

#### Configure RCS Fallback &#x20;

Enable the RCS Fallback switch to allow undelivered WhatsApp messages to be sent through RCS.

Enable the Sent but not delivered option to retry messages that were sent but not delivered.

Select the required wait duration to configure the RCS fallback delay.

Click Select RCS Fallback Template to choose the fallback message template.

Select the checkbox for the trans\_leyal RCS fallback template.

### Send or Schedule the Campaign &#x20;

Select Send Now to send the campaign immediately or Schedule Now to schedule delivery for a later time.

To schedule the campaign, click the date and time field and select your preferred delivery date and time.

Click OK to confirm the schedule.

### View Campaign Details &#x20;

Once the CSV campaign is created, navigate to the Campaigns section to view it.

Open the campaign details to review its configuration and verify whether RCS fallback is enabled for the WhatsApp campaign.

For scheduled campaigns, locate the campaign in the Campaigns section and review its scheduling details.

You have now created a CSV Broadcast campaign and configured its delivery, personalization, retry settings, and optional RCS fallback.

Click the campaign name to track:

* Audience size
* Sent
* Delivered
* Read
* Failed
* Amount used

You can view the campaign details and verify whether RCS fallback is enabled for your WhatsApp campaign. For scheduled campaigns, you can also check the scheduled delivery details.
