# OwnAI

### Overview  

OwnAI is Ownchat's built-in AI module that enables AI-assisted automation in your bot workflows. Configuration is managed through the AI Configuration section in Settings, which includes the following modules:

| OwnAI           | Enable AI assistance and select your preferred AI model |
| Usage Logs      | Track AI usage across your account                      |
| Transactions    | Monitor AI credit transactions                          |
| Conversation AI | Manage AI-powered conversation settings                 |

### Prerequisites &#x20;

Before configuring OwnAI, ensure the following:

* You have admin access to your Ownchat account
* Your main wallet has sufficient balance to top up AI credits if needed

### Step 1: Access OwnAI Settings &#x20;

1. Click the **Settings** icon in the sidebar.

2. Go to the **AI Configuration** section.

3. Click **OwnAI** to open the configuration page.

### Step 2: Enable AI Assistance &#x20;

On the OwnAI configuration page, toggle the switch to **enable AI Assistance.**

If you do not need AI assistance, leave the toggle disabled. No further configuration is required until you choose to enable it.<br>

### Step 3: Select an AI Model &#x20;

Click the model dropdown and select your preferred AI model (e.g., **OpenAI GPT-4o Mini**). Choose any available model based on your requirements.<br>

### Step 4: Save Your Settings &#x20;

Once your selections are made, save the configuration. A success confirmation will appear to confirm your AI settings have been saved.

### Step 5: Top Up Your AI Wallet &#x20;

OwnAI uses a credit-based system. To add credits:

1. Click the **Add Credits** button on the OwnAI page.<br>

2. Enter the amount to transfer from your main wallet.<br>

3. Confirm the top-up.<br>

A notification will confirm that credits have been successfully transferred to your AI Wallet.

**Credit conversion rate:** For every ₹1 transferred, 100 credits are added to your AI Wallet.<br>

### Notes &#x20;

* Your current main wallet balance is visible at the top of the AI Credits section before completing a top-up.
* AI credits are deducted from your AI Wallet as your bot uses AI-assisted features.
* You can monitor usage and transactions under the **Usage Logs** and **Transactions** modules in the AI Configuration section.
* Changes take effect after saving your configuration.
